Double headeder

It's birthday time!  Both kids were very excited to celebrate their birthdays together, yet separated!  It was twice the fun all rolled into one.  We started the celebration with Owyn to celebrate her turning One we choose to do a Cupcake theme party...Since she really is our little Cupcake!  We made cupcake for everyone to enjoy and then I made her a very special large smash cake!  At first she wasn't sure what to do with it but once she realized this taste good the was eating her Strawberry flavored cake like a crazy girl.  She did have a little help from Jordyn, who was telling her to dig in.
After cake we did cupcake pinata the kids just had to pull the string to break out the bottom and then we finished up Owyn's party with opening her presents which she lost interest in pretty fast and the rest of the kids helped her open them.
Then we kicked off Xavier's "Sail with Me" Party by all the kids gearing up into the swimsuits and sliding and splashing in the pool.  After a bit of cooling off in the pool we got out the paint and the kids went to town painting the boat Daddy helped Mommy put together.

Owyn enjoyed the paint alot...she thought it was really yummy! She kept sticking the paint brushes in her mouth no matter how many times we told her "Yuck" and showed her how to paint on the boat.  The boat painting ended when the Bigger kids (Molly) decided to start painting the little kids and Xavier was like "this means war" and he got his hands loaded with paint and the chase was on!  The Paint War ended with a rinse down in the pool and then we got out Xavier's Birthday cake which he was super excited about because he wanted ice cream cake! We had a little trouble keeping the candle lit so he could blow it out but we got it all worked out.

Owyn sure enjoyed have more sweets and when finished she went for another dip in the pool.

We ended the Birthday celebrations with Xavier opening his gifts and the big birthday gift being his bike!  He was excited about it but needs to grow just a few more inches before he will be able to manage it on his own.  We then enjoyed a grill out and after it got dark we roasted s'mores to ended the evening.  It was a lot of work to do both birthdays in one evening but it worked out really well and I was glad not to have to worry about birthdays for another year!

Edited to add pictures of party, sorry so spread out I try to get them all together but it just keeps deleting and I tried to move in order of party but that wasn't working either.  So at least I got them uploaded! So please enjoy them!
