Soccor Camp 2013

Once again it was British Soccor time!  Xavier was super excited about the week not only did we get to do soccor but we got to stay at Grandma and Grandpa for the week.  Xavier cousin Carol was the only other child in the group so the two of them and Owyn sometimes...got lots of attention from their Coach Ben.  He did a great job with he kids and they had a blast playing soccor.

I was able to snap a shot of the three of them when Owyn decided that she was ready to join in.

Here was a shot of them and for some reason I can't get it so stand upright...sorry about that.


Here was the game that we taught Coach Ben it was a big hit but I think wore out the adults more then the kids.  It's called cat and mouse and the mouse tuck the jerseys in like tales and the the cats chase the mice.

This was our last day and the kids got there chance to try and soccor it was them against the coach.

Horse Back Riding

Thanks to our friend Stephanie, Xavier and Owyn were able to have their first experience riding on a pony!  They had a blast doing this Xavier was super excited about riding and loved it and can't wait to do it again sometime.


Owyn seemed to enjoy the ride but was a little shy at first but she loved petting them.


We want to thank Stephanie and Brian for inviting us as they had a day to remember Fred.

Happy 4th Birthday Xavier

A camping we will go!  Xavier had talked about camping all winter and when were discussed birthday themes he was set on Camping....So that is just what we did.  We encouraged him to take at nap after lunch before his party and he refused and went about messing around to keep himself awake the party was set to start at 3:30 and just as the last guest were arriving this was the Birthday Boy.



So after he had a little snooze we tried to wake him and he was a bit on the grouchy side so we slowly got things going and let him pick what we would do first.  So we started out with opening gifts and then h wanted to have cake so we got things going and as he woke up we were able to do a few more things the kids and some adults decorated a camping bandanna and then we got out some of the new toys.  The rocket was a big hit.



We then cooked up dinner and enjoyed s'mores and then played some more games.

Owyn's first Haircut!

At the age of 2 we decided that it was time for Owyn to get her first haircut and she was so excited the last few times at Wanda's she would beg to get in the chair and Wanda would just put the comb through it  but this time she was getting the royal treatment.  Wanda gave her a wash and then just trimmed up the ends.



Owyn did and good job sitting still but got a little restless at the end of the haircut but here is a front and back of the first haircut.

Happy 2nd Birthday Owyn!

Owyn's had a lot of fun at her Doggie and Kitty Party.  The kids started the party by decorating there animails take home boxes and then selecting which animal they were going to adopt from the party.  The kids had a hard time picking which Cat or Dog they wanted. 


Then we headed out back for a dog bone digging as the kids used shovels to search the sandbox and find dog bones.

Then they had some cat race which had them on there hands and knees batting there yarn ball across the yard.


We enjoyed cupcakes, which Owyn was super excited about but didn't want to blow out the candles at first but with some help she got the job done and enjoyed her cake.

Then we open presents and she wanted to try out her new bike so was showing it off.
