Oh What fun it is to....

Go Sledding at Night!!!!  Finally the Temperature around here got above freezing and we were able to spend a little time outside!  The kids had a great time on our perfect for them sledding Hill!




Owyn was even able to get the sleds back to the top!



I think this is my favorite of the two of them!

HO, HO, HO!!!

Merry Christmas...Its Santa!!!  We got to go to one of the John Deere...the one Daddy doesn't work at and see Santa!  The kids were super excited about the trip.  Santa even had John Deere Tractor sets to give the kids after they sat on his lap!  He also shared cookies and juice too!

This was our last time for Kindermusik this semester...the kids have enjoyed going!  They got to do many favorites: sledding(horse ride), drums, running around circle, scarves and so much more.

Carving Pumpkins...Grandma M. was able to come up for the day and help out with carving...Owyn wanted an Owl and Xavier a Spider so I used the cricut to cut out the template and we got to work.

Heading out for some more trick or treating at a local church who puts on a fun Western themed event...they used cardboard to create it...can't find pics at the moment.


Mommy and Kiddos Halloween Party...What a Fun time we had with everyone, amazing we got a picture with everyone in it minus all moms taking pics.
At Owyn's school for her pumpkin/orange party day.  She decorated her own cookie and I think it has more sprinkles then there is cookie!
Xavier had a fun day at school for Halloween.  This is one of his two favorite teachers Mrs.Tina...Xavier is so sweet to both his teachers and they both adore him and thinks he just the best little guy ever!
And last but not least Halloween night had arrived...we actually ended up in the Ames/Slater Area for trick or treating due to no school on Friday and needing to get some work done on the van and Daddy took the day off on Friday.  Molly and Katelyn meet up with us for the night.  The weather was pretty good for us too so it worked out well.
Our last stop was the Library and they had a few fun tricks for us to do to earn our Candy the kids seemed to think it was pretty fun.
One last roar for before heading to G&G to go to bed!

Pumpkin Pickin at Heartland Farms

After checking out the Pumpkin Patch with Owyn,  Xavier was upset he didn't get to go so we decided we would go back as a Family to find our Halloween Pumpkins.  This time we got to explore a little more of the farm.  We did the corn Maze...really just a walk through with some skeleton exhibits to check out.  The kids enjoyed walking in the corn.

Then they checked out the already picked pumpkins but Xavier asked if we could go find out own in the field so we just looked at these pumpkins we didn't pick one to keep.


Then we were able to find a nice lady they took a picture of the four us us.

Then they wanted to see how tall they were this Fall...we have done this at other patches in the past.

I managed to snap a few pictures when we were on the Hayride it was a bit chilly riding around the pumpkin patch and corn field but they kids seemed to enjoy the ride with the Orange tractor that was pulling us.


 The Kids did jump in the jumping pumpkin but this time we were able to try out the big jumping pillow!  The kids had a blast with this and so did we!  It was a lot of Jumping and bouncing fun.


We also got to watch the Pumpkin blaster while jumping on the big pillow... They were shooting pumpkins at a truck and car out in the field.

Then finally it was time to get out in the patch they had a wheelbarrow that we could use to bring back the pumpkins.  Xavier was super excited about picking out pumpkins he would find them and then deiced that he didn't like it.  Owyn picked out a pumpkin right away but it was too small we would be able to carve it so she decided to look for another one.

And we found it...by this time she was pretty tuckered out from the walking so Daddy gave her a ride in the barrow. Xavier tried to push her but that about ended with Owyn dumped in the field.


Then finally Xavier found the pumpkin that he wanted!  We ended up with 50lbs of pumpkin!!!
