Happy Valentines Day!!!

Well I am so proud of myself for this post I am actually posting on the day that we took the pictures!  Don't get to use to this but I should have a little more free time to get things done after we get moved and settle in and Xavier is also becoming the big helper and wanted to get the pictures posted so that we can share them with family!  Our Day started out with the two monkey's finding there way into my bed sometime before 7am....after a longish night Owyn cried out a few times before midnight and then Xavier fell out of bed just after...he seemed fine but then about 30min later I heard him crying again and he had somehow when he fell scraped his hand so we doctored it up and he went back to bed.  About 730 Owyn was whining "I Hungry" so I got up and made the kids heart pancakes!  After breakfast they wanted to color so we got out the big board and made pictures for you!  Which then started a "Photo-Cheese" Contest.

 I was also able to get a few great shoot of O and X....Owyn learned a few months ago to blow kisses but has totally got good since talking to daddy on google video chat.

Here are some close up shots that were snapped when they were playing games with Mom and the camera and refused to scoot back to get a picture....I do love the eye's I captured with X and O's look is her classic "Mom I have had enough....Stop it!"

Then the kids started to get a little crazy and were rolling around on the floor.  Xavier wanted me to take the picture below.
And this picture just happened to happen I think it totally caught the moments we sometimes have.

Then we got busy after am snack and started making roll out cookies and Owyn was "helping" too.  I'm not sure how much she helped verse how much she eat.  However she thought it was fun to nibble on the cookies.

 

Xavier was a big help and did most of the sprinkles on the cookies which was a big help.  However we did have a few oops and spilled sprinkles on the cookies.  Xavier said that they will still be yummy.

Snow Puddles

Finally we were able to get outside and enjoy the weather!  Although the snow had started to melt we were able to find fun on a walk around the neighborhood!  We found Lots and Lots of Puddles to "walk"through okay more like stomp through.  Xavier was running up and down the sidewalk through the puddles, while Owyn at first was slowly stepping into the water and gently walking through the puddles.
Then after watching Xavier jumping and slapping in them she decided that she was going to too.  Xavier said this was the muddy puddle.  However most of them were pretty muddy in my opinion.

Xavier loved this puddle as it was a "Big Puddle"  I think he said that because it was pretty deep as the sidewalk here had a dip in it.  He stomped back and forth through this one a few times before he was ready to move on.


Owyn stopped for a min and was saying "me" "me" and then I realized she wanted me to take her picture. So I snapped one of her and got one of her more recent famous looks I have been getting.  She is totally a little diva at times.

And this was at the end of our almost hour long walk it across the street from are house this was almost the last puddle for them to jump and it's good thing it was so close to home since Owyn's decided she needed to put her gloved hands in the water and after I got her to stop with one hand and took her mitten she did it with the other one.

Enjoying the high's between all the January lows!

It seems the days in January are short but the weeks are long! Even in the bitter cold we were lucky this year so far to have days when it was nice enough in the 30's and 40's to get outside and get out some well needed energy.  Xavier really wanted to go out and Owyn wanted to as soon as she realized that what Xavier was wanting.  So we all bundled up and went out Xavier wanted to make a snowman but the snow wasn't balling together for us to do that so Mom came up with the idea we could make a snow turtle so that's what we did.  Owyn just watched us holding a small shovel while Xavier and Mom scooped the snow into a big pile and then made the dome shape for the turtle body.  We added a Head and Tail and four legs.  It was getting dark when we were finishing up but the kids wanted to get some pictures so they climbed on top for a ride and then Xavier said it needed "Goodnight Kisses" So he gave the turtle those.  Then inside we went were I quickly through together dinner for to very hungry kids who wanted to eat right this minute.

Goofy boots

I love how stinking cute my baby girl can be sometimes...she can do the silliest of things that make us totally laugh...she didn't want to get her pants on and it was one of those days were we weren't going to fight it and next things you know she got Bubbys boots on and is tromping around the kitchen in them and I love when I said Oywn what are you doing she just turned and gave me that look she gives.

Chirstmas Morning....

Good Morning! Merry Christmas! Owyn was the first to wake Christmas morning and our Elf Buttons had left a little surprise for the kids to wake up to.

Owyn crawled under Xavier's Streamers and tried to wake him up he got a bit grumpy with her and was yelling at her to get out...So Mommy to the rescue I got Owyn out and to the table for breakfast while Xavier woke up.  He was super upset at first when he was locked in his room....Mommy how am I going to get out..Don't take my picture...  But then he started to warm up and he was able to break through that Naught Elf's lock.

After Breakfast Xavier first one done saw the goodies that had been left.  He was a bit upset that the stocking were on the floor and it Santa that had been naughty this time leaving the stocking on the floor.  We also had to get Daddy out of bed since he wasn't up so we could start opening all our presents.
