Here comes Santa Claus!!!

"Mom, I hear Santa!" Xavier shouted as he heard a jingle bell ringing.  We went this Grandma and Grandpa M. tot he Legion for hamburgers and to see Santa and we had just finished up when Santa arrived.  Here Xavier is having is first 2012 talk with Santa before we went to sit on Santa's lap.  On the way over to get our picture taken Xavier asked me were are Santa's reindeer and his sleigh.  We told him they were on the rough and he said "I can't see them" but then we got to sit on Santa's lap.

And then we have Owyn.  Xavier was super happy about his visit with Santa and Owyn was like who do you think you are Man?  He was saying come here Owybn you can sit on my lap with Xaiver. 


So with Mom's help we got her up on Santa's lab and you can see that it didn't last long.

So as you see she escaped and Xavier got to enjoy some one on one time with Santa.  Santa asked Xavier what he wanted for Christmas and all Xavier could tell him was some "Dirt" Santa even said are there any toys you would like to have? and Xaiver just kept telling him he wanted Dirt for Christmas.











Xaiver was super excited about sitting with Santa we got some great pictures of the the two.

Owyn's Big Girl Bed!!!

Tonight we gave away Owyn's crib and she got a big Girl Bed....She was so excited she could climb into her bed by herself.  "It's mine!!!"

After enjoying the bed we were able to get the bedspread on and then it was time for bed.

Xavier was so excited about sis's new bed he wanted to have story time in her room.  So they both snuggled up in Owyn's bed and Daddy read a story. 

Owyn has done wonderful with her big girl bed and for the most part has stayed in the bed for the whole night a few nights we've had to help her locate her paci which has fallen to the floor around 4 or 5am but then she gets back in bed and sleeps til 7ish.

Our Christmas Tree!

We forgot to take pictures while we were decorating the tree so we attempted to take some with the tree after it was decorated and this is what we got....

They did both enjoy the lights being strung and then when we lit it they like that a lot but they were not having each other in their space at this point but it was past their bed times and they were getting a bit on the tired side.

Treats, Treats, and more Treats!

We got the Treat of  Trick or Treating two nights since Slater was on Tuesday we went to Grandparents and learned the ropes after a few Treats!  Owyn and Xavier had lots of energy to start the night.  We got lots of compliments on their costumes.  It was funny when they would say ohh your a bug and Xavier would correct them and say No Caterpillar!

Then on Wednesday the real Halloween Day this year we got to Trick or Treat in our own neighborhood. I was able to get them to stand still for a moment to try and capture a picture of the Very Hungry Caterpillar who trick would be to turn into a beautiful butterfly.  Then after the first house I was able to get a picture of the backs of their costumes which have a lot more going on.

In the neighborhood each year one of the house does a really fun Pirate them and has this boot so among the many house we had to stop at this was one of our pit stops they kids were amazed by this and ship as they got to board it for a moment.

Finally our night came to and end with a small treat at home and then baths and beds. They were out soon after their heads hit the pillow tonight!  I think they had a Happy Halloween!

 

And I'm so glad with myself I think I was able to catch up the post and should have everything from October but will see when I upload pictures next time.
