Snuggle Bugs!

Story time can be a lot of fun Xavier loves to read one of his faviorte books was Mommy's Go Dog Go! By Dr. Suess although this night we were reading Are you my Mother? After stories are done we give hugs and kisses.
Although some nights Xavier says Sissy sleep with me, Owyn does love hanging out in Brother big boy bed but we couldn't trust her to stay in bed now that she has masterd rolling over from back to tummy, and if we could only get her to roll back to her back instead of waking and screaming for us until we flip her back over.
Andrew and I have both said many times we think Xavier spoiled us when he was a baby as he almost always slept the night away and didn't need us in the night around 2months on. Now we just wish he would teach missy to do the same but her we are going on 5 months and she still seems to think that seeing mommy and daddy in the night is the way to do it.

Recapping October

I can't believe that the month just got away from us. Xavier and Owyn both have grown so much in the past month it is crazy. I can't believe the holiday season is creeping in on us and keeps getting closer and closer.
I'm in amazement of Xavier as one day he just woke up and basically decided he was going to start using the potty! The first week we had lots of accidents to clean up but now we are just over to weeks in and accidents are only happening about every other day unless he's in one of his "NO" moods then we have lots. His vocabulary has exploded as well and he picks things up in no time at all. He become a little dare devil and enjoys climbing like a monkey off furniture and then jumping to the floor.
As for Miss Owyn she is growing fast, she really not a baby anymore she learned lots of new tricks she rolling over mostly back to front, she sitting unsupported and enjoys being free on the floor to explore her toys, she gotten really good at grabbing for things and pulling them in. Her personality is exploding at the moment, I would have to say her 3 favorite things are smiling, babbling, and laughing.  We had a lot of fun on Halloween!  I did manage to complete Xavier's costume for the big day,  He was the frog prince and sister was the princess!  We didn't get a ton of candy as Xavier was way more interested in the pumpkins, decorations and kicking the leaves on the ground. Xavier really enjoyed carving the pumpkins and Sis played with the gords in the highchair while we worked.

Friday Nights with Grandpa Beougher, are really special for Xavier.  One of the first things he says to Grandpa " You got the keys?"  Xavier always ready for a Tractor ride this Friday was a bit more fun as they had work to do....They picked the pumpkins and gourds and brought them to the front of the house.  Xavier sure can be a worker bee when he wants too.

Colin and Rachael's
Wedding Day
It was a beautiful day the weather sure was beautiful! It's amazing how much their wedding made me think about ours which was just over 4 years ago.  Even on the way home Andrew said to me how it was crazy all the thoughts of our day came rushing in like it was just yesterday.  However if we had to do all over again I think we should elope.  They picked a wonderful location at Stonehevan Barn,  Their colors really complimented the fall season and everyone looked amazing!  Rachael's dress was absolutely dazzling and as she sure lit up the room!

Iowa State Gets a Vitcory!

We celebrated ISU's big score over Iowa with a speial snap shot at Owyn's 3 month shoot!
Xavier was being a stinker and this was the only photo we captured of him!  Miss Owyn was he her own mood and didn't want to look at the camera much and when she did we had trouble getting her big cute grin!

Miss Owyn is 3 Months Old!

Wow! Has she grown!  No longer can I say shes a newborn anymore totally an infant now!  She is sleeping good at night most nights we get from 9pm until around 7am.  This morning she was super nice and slept til just before 8 and so did her brother boy was it nice to "sleep in"!  She is really alreat these days and like to spend a lot of the day awake and checking out her world.  She enjoys loves sitting in the exersuacer so she can watch what going on.  She also has really been enjoying her gym by kicking the toys with her feet or trying to grasp them with her hands.  She really loves smiling at everyone and loves making sounds when your playing or when she wants you to play!

Here is Owyn at almost 3 Months

Here is Xavier when he was about 3 Months
Last weekend we went to the Prairiefest Parade in Huxley. Xavier really enjoyed collecting the candy and other items that were thrown our way.
He almost got ran over once trying to get candy from the middle of the road but it worked out okay. Owyn sat on my lap the whole time and enjoyed watching until the end when two semi trucks had a horn war, it was a bit loud for her.

Here's a few pictures of Owyn's first time swimming at the big pool, we were able to go a few times after Little Miss lost her Umbilical cord before Mom returned to work.

This weekend we didn't do much as we worked on some potty training.  The only big success is that we got him to wear the big boy pants two of the days and he wore them for a about 6 hours each day.  But he still hasn't peed int he potty.  So will keep offering but I think it's still going to be a while and he's going to be one of those kids that will do it in his own time, I have a feeling!
